Poster final draft

Here is the final draft of my poster. It has changed since the previous draft as I have changed the font to match the one used for Calvin Harris' album "18 Months". I believe this has created a much more professional look for my piece.

Digipak final draft

Here is the final draft of my digipak. I decided to create a 4 panel one as opposed to a 6 panelled digipak as I felt that without an artist, my images were empty and did not give anything to the overall appearance of the product. I have also added background information about the music for my audience as I felt this would be more expected of an established artist such as Calvin Harris than, for example, a thank you letter.

Here is a magazine style publication in which I have placed all four questions, in written format, into one document.

Evaluation Question 2

Production Log 25/03/15

Unfortunately I was unable to go into school today due to tonsilitus which was a shame as I was hoping to complete a video draft of my evaluations, as I cannot do them at home because I don't have Premiere. Luckily a friend told me about a programme similar to Premiere named "Sony Vegas", and I was able to create a video on here. There were many similarities, however getting used to this new software meant it took much longer than I'd anticipated, and I believe the software of Premiere is alot more advanced and professional.

Music Video - Third Draft

Here is the third draft of my music video. I'm really happy with the outcome, however post-feedback I believe I will have to redraft it once more to reduce the size of the title at the beginning/end and reduce the speed of the fade from black/white to colour. Apart from this I feel my video is complete.

Digipak Second Draft

Post feedback some felt the image in the bottom left hand corner was too dark for my digipak so today I have been experimenting with different images which could be used instead. Here is a possible second draft for my digpak.

Audience Feedback

Here is a survey I have created through the website "Survey Monkey" to gain feedback for my second draft of my music video. I decided to create an online survey as the use of the internet means it is easier to reach a wider audience and have all of the feedback in one place. I will link my survey to my social media accounts such as Twitter and Facebook and ask my friends to complete it, which again is effective as many of my friends fit into my taget demograpic (16-21, female, ABC1, mainstreamers).

Create your free online surveys with SurveyMonkey , the world's leading questionnaire tool.

Experimenting with Photoshop for my poster

20/01
As I am not very confident with Photoshop I decided to use today's lesson to experiment with different filters, colour saturation and tools to see how I could edit the picture of the landscape for my poster. I decided to experiment with 4 different looks which are as follows: 1 - over edited and extremely bright, 2 - black and white, 3 - bright yet less animated and 4 - dark and gloomy in order to create contrast. The original image is below.

Feedback of first draft

Today I recieved feedback for my first draft of my music video from my teacher. She used a programme called "Cantasia" which allowed her to speak over my video and comment on specific areas. I feel this feedback was really useful and I agree with a lot of things that she's saying.
